Teaching Children the Importance of Kindness

Teaching Children the Importance of Kindness

Last week’s Torah portion was about when Abraham and Sarah warmly welcomed guests into their home.  Whether it’s welcoming someone into their home, into their classroom, or inviting the new child to play, hospitality is a form of kindness that is essential to teach our children.  Our Leopards class practiced hospitality by inviting their parents into the classroom.  They even took it to the next level by baking cookies for their guests.  Simple acts of kindness can be simple, but can have a huge impact.  What are some ways you can teach your child kindness everyday?  Share with us on our Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/jrmpreschool
